Astoria Builders completed an extension on the back of my 3 bedroom home last summer. We found them to be extremely professional and tidy. The work they did in our home was outstanding. They came up with an idea to create a glass dome in the ceiling and myself and my wife are so glad they suggested it as it brings in so much natural light. My wife and I were genuinely delighted with the quality of Astoria Builders work, their commitment and practical advice during the refurbishment of our house and the “after sales” availability for very minor snags. We were also very happy with the fact that the final cost was very close to the early detailed estimate. We had asked three builders to provide us with estimates and we chose Astoria Builders on the basis that their estimate was very detailed and compared favorably with the others pricewise. As we were on a strict budget, we wanted to prevent as much as possible any negative surprise regarding the actual final cost. The refurbishment of our house was a major one and lasted around six weeks.

It consisted in redesigning most of the rooms, putting new stairs, new floors, new doors, building an ensuite, and fitting integrated wardrobes within the main bedroom’s walls. The work was completed a year ago, and we have not had any single motive of dissatisfaction. I have no hesitation in recommending Astoria Builders. In fact I have already recommended them to two friends of mine. We found Robert and the employees who worked on our house, genuine, decent and honnest people.
